Digital innovation has been a cornerstone to SFBIG since our inception. We continue to champion local Bay Area game-changing technology led by modern visionaries. We are proud to have created an organization that fosters this type of support through mentorship and open communication. Guided by those principles, it is with great excitement that we announce SFBIG's first event in the New Year, The BIG Minute of Innovation.
We proudly launch The BIG Minute, a new staple to our educational events, whereby entrepreneurs can pitch their start-up ideas to the SFBIG audience. This breakfast morning event provides our members with the chance to witness innovation in action.
Fifteen companies have been invited to present themselves in 70 seconds (a BIG minute) to the BIG membership. Through the lens of a consumer, brand marketer, or even a critic, each of these companies will present solutions to marketplace opportunities. Some ideas are fun, some are useful, but all carry innovation. To read more about the different categories represented and the participants, go to our Facebook page.
A panel of seasoned judges, represented by a brand marketer, agency, and venture capitalist, critique their thoughts while the audience will have the chance to rate each idea using in-seat voting. Real-time comments will also be streamed via Twitter (#BIGminute) with a final conclusion of the top 3 favorite companies announced at the end of the event.
